Diverse Minds was set up in 1997 with support from the Department of Health in response to serious concerns raised by people from black and minority ethnic (BME) communities about the circumstances surrounding their experiences of mental healthcare in this country.

The mission of SAVY is to support all aspects of voluntary youth. These are: Supporting Young People to volunteer and become active citizens. Supporting community and voluntary groups to involve and support Young People. Supporting and spreading good practice in voluntary youth groups. Providing a voice for Young People.
